How it works

From your therapist's plan to a completed session.

KineTrue connects the home exercise program your therapist creates with the work you do between visits.

Your therapist assigns exercises

Your home page shows the exercise, sets, repetitions, and schedule selected for you, so there's no guesswork about what to do today.

You complete the guided session

Allow camera access, follow the demonstration, and get on-screen form feedback and rep counting as you move.

Your therapist reviews the results

Completed and missed sessions, session results, and your pain reports land in the therapist workspace, where your therapist reviews them between visits and before your next appointment.

What "review" means in practice: KineTrue is not live monitoring, and nobody is watching your camera feed. Your therapist sees which sessions were completed or missed, your results, and the pain you report, and reviews them within the clinic's normal workflow. If something feels wrong or urgent, contact your clinic directly.

YOU DO

Guided sessions at home, on the schedule your therapist set.

KINETRUE DOES

Counts reps, scores form, and saves your session results and pain reports.

YOUR THERAPIST DOES

Reviews results between visits and adjusts your exercise plan.

NEVER AUTOMATIC

Your exercises never change without your therapist deciding.

See it end to end

One session, start to finish.

No polished promises: this is exactly what happens when you do a supported squat with KineTrue in your living room.

Before the first rep

Press start, prop up your device, and check yourself in the on-screen camera view. The exercise begins when you're ready, not before.

Camera on during exercise only

During the exercise

One short cue at a time, only when your form needs it. When you're moving well, KineTrue counts quietly.

Keep your knee aligned Slow down as you return to standing Rep 8 of 12 counted

If something hurts

Stop. Stopping early is fine. The pain check in your session records what happened, so your therapist sees a reason, not an unexplained gap.

Session stopped · pain recorded

What gets saved

Reps completed, form quality, duration, and your pain reports. Not video. Your therapist sees exactly this:

SESSION RESULT · SUPPORTED SQUAT12 / 12 reps · Quality 92%

Pain 2/10 before · 2/10 after · 6 min

Works well when

  • You're doing the exercises your therapist assigned from the KineTrue exercise library.
  • One person is in frame, with your whole body visible.
  • You're in an ordinary room with normal indoor lighting.
  • You have a phone, tablet, or laptop from the last few years.

Keep in mind

  • KineTrue guides prescribed exercises. It doesn't diagnose, and it never replaces your therapist's judgment.
  • Form feedback needs your full body in frame; if the camera can't track you reliably, reps aren't counted rather than guessed.
  • Sessions aren't watched live, so urgent concerns always go to your clinic directly.
Patient workspace

Know exactly what to do today.

Your home page puts the next assigned exercise first, with your other exercises, appointments, messages, and progress in one place, without searching through separate tools.

  • Start the exercise your therapist assigned
  • See rep counts and form feedback during the session
  • Record pain before and after exercise
  • Message your therapist and check appointments

Therapist workspace

See the work done between visits.

Assign exercise videos, open individual session results, review patient progress, manage appointments, and message patients from one workspace: the visibility you need to run a remote therapeutic monitoring (RTM) program, without adding an always-on monitoring burden.

  • Runs in the browser, so there's nothing for the clinic to install
  • Completed and missed sessions visible at a glance
  • Session summaries and pain reports, never patient video
  • Review between visits, on the clinic's schedule, not live

From the founder
We built KineTrue because the hardest part of rehab happens at home, where nobody can see it. Everything on this page, from the camera guidance and the blunt privacy answers to the therapist review loop, exists to make that invisible work visible to the people caring for you.

Setting up at home

An ordinary room is enough.

No studio, no ring light, no measuring tape. Here's what a session actually needs, and what to do if the first one doesn't go smoothly.

Space

Enough clear floor to do your exercise safely, with your whole body visible in the camera view.

Camera placement

Prop your phone or laptop a couple of metres away. A chair or shelf at roughly waist height works well.

Lighting

Normal indoor light is fine. Just avoid standing in front of a bright window, so the camera can see you clearly.

Device

A phone, tablet, or laptop from the last few years, using the browser you already have. Nothing to install.

If the camera won't start, check the browser's permission prompt first. If it still won't work, you're not locked out of your plan. Watch the exercise demonstration video, and message your therapist directly from your home page so they can help before your next session. Prefer not to use the camera at all? You can still open your plan and follow the demonstration videos; the camera only powers rep counting and form feedback.

Camera and privacy

Straight answers about the camera.

If you're pointing a camera into your home, you deserve blunt answers, not policy language. Here they are.

Camera on during exercise Movement analysed on your device Results saved: reps, quality, pain Reviewed by your therapist
Is video recorded?

No. KineTrue analyses your movement on your device and scores the exercise from that. The video itself never leaves your device, and it is never recorded or stored.

When is the camera on?

Only during a guided session you start. The session screen shows it working the whole time, and it turns off when the session ends. This website never requests camera access.

What is saved, and for how long?

Session results only: reps completed, form quality, duration, and the pain you report. They stay in your care record with your clinic so progress can be tracked over time, and are deleted when you ask.

What if someone walks into the frame?

Nothing is captured, of you or of them. KineTrue tracks one person's movement and never records video. If it loses clear sight of you, it pauses counting rather than guessing.

Who can see it?

You and the care team at your clinic, in the therapist workspace. Sessions are never watched live.

Can I stop, or delete my data?

Yes. Stop a session at any time and the camera turns off with it. Revoke camera permission in your browser whenever you like, and contact us to request deletion of your data.

Is video of me recorded or stored?

No. KineTrue analyses your movement on your device to check the exercise. The video itself never leaves your device, and it is never recorded or stored. Only session results are saved: reps completed, form quality, duration, and the pain you report.

When is my camera on?

Only during a guided exercise session you start, and the session screen shows the camera working the whole time. The camera turns off when the session ends. This public website never requests camera access.

Who can see my session results?

You and the care team at your clinic. Your therapist sees your session results, progress, and pain reports in the therapist workspace. You can revoke camera permission in your browser at any time and contact us to request deletion of your data.

Is my therapist watching my sessions live?

No. Sessions are not monitored in real time. Your therapist reviews your completed and missed sessions, results, and pain reports between visits and before your next appointment, as part of your clinic's normal workflow. If something feels wrong or urgent, contact your clinic directly.

Do I need special equipment?

No special sensors are required. You need a supported device with a camera, enough room to move safely, and the equipment prescribed by your therapist.

What if an exercise hurts?

Stop the exercise. Stopping early is fine. Use the pain check in your session to record what happened, so your therapist sees why you stopped instead of an unexplained gap. Contact your therapist if you are unsure whether to continue.

What if my camera won't start?

Check that your browser allowed camera access when it asked. If it still won't start, you are not locked out of your plan: you can watch the exercise demonstration video and message your therapist directly from your home page.

How do I get an account?
